Pencil in the 12th

Pencil in the 12th

As per England’s roadmap and should it proceed as planned, Body Smarts are pleased to announce that we should hopefully be able to reopen on the 12th of April 2021 (just in time for your Easter egg hunts), no less in our new premises at 20 Trafalgar Villas, Brownsover Road, Farnborough, GU14 9UT. More information can be found here.

All clients with outstanding Vouchers and Bulk Buy cards will be contacted directly and directed to this post – please do not be offended if you get missed as I have many people to contact. Any expiry dates displayed on your Bulk Buy card will be ignored under the circumstances so please don’t feel rushed to book in immediately – subject to fair use.

Whilst our reopening is currently still not confirmed, we are now going to start taking bookings for appointments with the 12th April being the first available day. Of course, should the roadmap not go to plan and Body Smarts are to remain closed, all booked appointments will be cancelled immediately.

At this time, to ensure we are keeping as safe as possible, the following checklist will be administered at all times.

At Trafalgar Villas

  • No more than two households of appointments in one day
  • Ample time will be allocated between appointments to ensure adequate cleaning of equipment can take place
  • The massage table will be thoroughly wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes both before and after all appointments – this will not include back-to-back appointments of same household clients
  • As per normal use, couch covers and towels will not be used for multiple households and be washed thoroughly before the next use
  • Jezz will wear a face shield and mask whilst in the same room as all clients
  • Clients are strongly urged to wear at least one of the above
  • An external window will be open at all times to allow for better ventilation
  • Jezz’s hands will be thoroughly washed prior to any contact made between masseur and client
  • Anti-bacterial gel will be used to cleanse hands right before the massage is to begin
  • No drinks will be offered so please ensure you bring your own bottle of water
  • An NHS Test & Trace QR code will be available to scan should you choose
  • A quick Coronavirus Statement form is required to be completed remotely prior to your arrival – failure to complete this form may result in cancellation of your appointment
  • Background music will be kept at low-level volume to avoid raising of voices
  • BACS payments are preferred at this time, but I am still able to accept cash, cheque or card payment options

At your own home

  • No more than one house visit in one day
  • No more than two households of appointments in one day

  • Clients are strongly urged to wear at least one of the above
  • An external window or door must be open at all times to allow for better ventilation
  • Where possible and weather permittent, outdoor massages are preferred
  • Jezz’s hands will be thoroughly washed prior to arrival at your home

  • It is requested that clients wash their hands before the appointment as well
  • Jezz will bring his own bottle of water so no drinks will require offering

  • A quick Coronavirus Statement form is required to be completed remotely prior to my arrival – failure to complete this form may result in cancellation of your appointment
  • Any background music or other background noise must be kept at low-level volume to avoid raising of voices
  • BACS payments are preferred at this time, but I am still able to accept cash, cheque or card payment options
  • Travel fees to the heart of Fleet and Farnborough have been waived, but you may incur a small charge if outside of this area. If unsure, please ask and I can quote accordingly

We know you’ve all been dying to get back on the massage table and regain some sense of normality and ease those long overdue aches from sitting at your makeshift home office desk, but please be sensible. Should you, or any member of your household be showing symptoms of COVID-19, you must cancel your appointment immediately. There will be no cancellation fee in this instance. Equally, if I, or anyone in my own household begin to show symptoms of COVID-19, all appointments will be cancelled immediately.

I look forward to seeing you all again, it’s been far too long!

Jezz
